Out of all the rugged style essentials I treasure the most in the world of menswear, it all starts for me from the ground up with a pair of the best boots for men. Well, most days and most seasons, at least. Filson x Blundstone debuted earlier this fall, the first-ever boot collaboration between the two hard-working companies (a collaboration I covered over at Maxim.com), and now, you can find the Filson x Blundstone Chelsea Boots at your favorite online retailer, Huckberry. Talk about a partnership and a fitting pair of boots worth celebrating ahead of the holiday season, ehh?

Some fashion collaborations tend to make perfect sense on paper when you really think about it, and given the serious penchant both of these brands have for hard-wearing outdoor gear, well, this one surely reads as a winner in my book. There’s much to love about the latest run of the Filson x Blundstone Chelsea Boots (the #2535 model, in fact), starting with classic hallmarks of sturdy Blundstone construction, like the brand’s new and newly revamped  Avalon Gecko TPU outsole design beneath a water-resistant waxed suede upper.

That outsole should provide traction and a smooth ride underfoot as you wear the #2535 Filson x Blundstone Chelsea Boots, while Filson-approved touches like Blaze Orange elastic side gores and a Blaze Orange, co-branded footbed speak stylishly to the collaborative effort.

Huckberry, for its part, calls both iconic brands “titans of gear” and notes that Filson x Blundstone Chelsea Boots represent “the sum of Filson’s field-tested DNA and Blundstone’s century-plus of bootmaking grit.”

It’s mighty hard to argue with that sentiment, whether worn with rolled light wash denim and a casually cool henley or paired with a waxed field jacket and cotton-canvas work pants when duty calls in the great outdoors.
