The Mott and Bow Oliver Jeans are made with a slightly heaver, medium-weight 13oz. cotton denim — this should make them an ideal pair of blue jeans for early fall through into winter.

They feature 1 percent elastane (as opposed to Mott and Bow’s customary 2 percent), but the design of these jeans is still focused on comfort stretch denim. They’re also done up in the brand’s Slim fit, which features a 15.5″ leg opening. And yet, you can still score the Mott and Bow Oliver Jeans in either the brand’s Skinny or Straight fits.

I’ve tried both Slim and Straight with the Mott and Bow Oliver Jeans and other pairs, and find that the Straight Leg fit works nicely with bulkier leather work boots or Blundstone boots. The Slim fit is a better pairing with low-top or high-top sneakers. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.
