The evening proved everything I expected and hoped for, and then some — that’s the way it seems to go with Future Islands shows, as I’ve found over the years. And it was a perfect intersection of style, music, passion and ambition — Radio City Music Hall is famous for that, or so it would seem.

And on that note, Future Islands will be in heavy rotation as I groove my way through a Brooklyn weekend. On tap? Taylor Stitch, after all, set out to make one of the best men’s shirts on the market well over a decade ago, refining its first shirts in a garage before gradually ramping up production and becoming a true, do-it-all menswear brand.

I’m not sure about you, but when I find a menswear essential I love, I tend to stick with it and find it in as many variations as possible.
