#OOTD: A New Way to Take on Casual Winter Layering

We always love talking new and fun — well, hopefully fun — ways to wear your favorite men’s style essentials here on The Style Guide. In the case of today’s #OOTD,  that means taking pieces you’ve got in your wardrobe and mashing them up in a way that’s laidback, rugged and nearly ready for anything. We’ve talked consistently about pairing up pieces that you love with, well, other pieces that you love — it can make even the most seemingly basic outfits that much more fun to wear. As ever, using basic building blocks together in just one ensemble results in an outfit that’s weekend-friendly or ready to take on a casual final day of the week at the office — that’s exactly the direction you need to go when stuck in the winter style doldrums. We’re pushing through and nearly into March, so relief is in sight … and ideally, you won’t have to reinvent new ways to wear your favorite flannel shirt so often. At any rate, I think you’re going to like what’s on tap here, from a rugged slub henley to perfectly faded denim and tough leather chukka boots. Feel free to weigh in on the below #OOTD in the comments or via Twitter. To check out what I’m wearing, you can also head to my Instagram. For now, thanks for reading!

The perfect combo of tough and transitional layers.

The Jacket: Bridge and Burn Fraser Waxed Canvas Jacket, $215 –Take a weather-ready canvas jacket out for a spin to kick this outfit off — we sure do love the Fraser Waxed Canvas Jacket here on the blog.

The Shirt: Taylor Stitch Crater Flannel Shirt in Navy Plaid, $128 — Here’s your new favorite flannel shirt, as we mentioned before — the Taylor Stitch Crater Shirt combines a cool pattern and tough fabrication.

The Henley: Grayers Todd Slub Henley in Navy Heather, $65Grayers has a penchant for using excellent fabrics to make men’s style staples, like the Todd Slub Henley.

The Denim: Flint and Tinder One-Year Wash Jeans in Slim, $128 — When you reaching for laidback, rugged pieces like a stylish flannel shirt and a waxed canvas jacket, expertly faded jeans from Flint and Tinder are entirely acceptable (and recommended).

The Chukka Boots: Red Wing Heritage Weekender Chukka, $230 — Casual leather chukka boots are a perfect complement to this outfit — grab the Red Wing Heritage Weekender Chukka and go.

The Socks: American Trench Slub Crew Socks in Charcoal, $19.50 — With rugged leather chukka boots in the mix, stylish slub crew socks — especially American-made socks — are a worthy style move.

The Watch: Nezumi Studios Bailene Watch, $500Nezumi Studios is a new addition to the Huckberry roster, and a worthwhile purchase at that. The Bailene Watch is just the right balance between rugged and casual.

The Beanie: American Trench Ribbed Beanie in Charcoal, $110 — You’re going to need to top off your outfit the right way — with a durable beanie cap to help you fight winter’s chill.

That’s it, there’s your newest winter #OOTD! It comes down to using rugged-yet-casual and versatile pieces, like the Taylor Stitch Crater Shirt, paired up with similarly laidback essentials. Layering with the Todd Slub Henley adds both visual interest and warmth, while the Red Wing Heritage Weekender Chukka offers durability and plenty of tough style points on the footwear front. You’re getting similarly rugged layering potential on the outerwear front with the Fraser Waxed Canvas Jacket, while the American Trench Ribbed Beanie will also keep you warm during a chilly winter day.  And you’re going to need to step out with a stylish watch on your wrist, whether you’re heading to the coffee shop or your favorite brewpub — the Bailene Watch blends throwback style with tough durability. Plus, American-made socks are the new accessory move you didn’t know you needed (or perhaps you did?). Last but not least, we sure do love the Flint and Tinder denim on tap here. I’d love to see if you’d style these pieces together, or break ’em up and wear ’em separately — let me know in the comments below! As always, thanks for reading!

The Friday Read: Boxer, Engineered Garments x Barbour and Grand Rapids

It’s everyone’s absolute favorite day of the week — Friday — and time for everyone’s absolute favorite blog feature, The Friday Read. We’ve been quite busy these past few weeks, telling you all about the best hiking boots to buy now, plus the best men’s gear to close out winter; it’s hard work to keep the lights on (figuratively speaking, at least). What’s on your radar in terms of gear purchases for these next few weeks of cold weather? There’s at least some light at the end of the tunnel — before you know it, I’m sure we’ll be talking about your spring style wish list and all the gear you can’t wait to break out for the weeks and months ahead. For now though, we’ve got some work to do. I’m back in Brooklyn this weekend after a winter trip to Grand Rapids, which was filled with cold beer, winter style essentials and great times with my family and friends. It’s not too often that I get to take those types of trips, so I certainly welcomed it. If you didn’t catch all the action on my Instagram, I’d suggest you check it all out (and maybe give me a follow — nudge, nudge). In the meantime, we’ve done the easy work of starting the weekend for you — let’s talk a bit of music, plus some highly durable (and coveted) outerwear. Cheers to the weekend!

  • One look at the photos here is all you need to know — the Engineered Garments x Barbour collaboration truly is something special, blending the unique touch that both brands have for taking quality heritage staples and mashing them up just ever so slightly. The one catch is that pieces from the collaboration don’t drop until fall 2018 — hey, a guy can dream until then, right?
  • If you follow The Style Guide regularly, you’re well aware of my passion for music (along with #menswear). That passion is perhaps no better exemplified than by the well-tailored members of my favorite band, The National! They sure do come up on this blog a lot, and with good reason. The indie rock group — formed in Brooklyn, but from Cincinnati, is curating its own festival back in Ohio this spring featuring fellow indie luminaries like Future Islands, Alvvays, Feist and Father John Misty. Oh, and another thing! They’ll be playing their iconic 2007 album, “Boxer,” in full that weekend. The news dropped this past week, and you can learn more at the link above. And another thing — I positively can’t wait to be there in April!
  • This next bit has been in the news these past few weeks — namely, the aftershocks from L.L. Bean ending its much-loved (and much over-used) lifetime return policy. Now, Esquire.com reports someone is suing L.L. Bean for ending its return policy. You can’t make this stuff up, folks.
  • Last but certainly not least — when is a gym bag … not just a gym bag? When it’s the Hard Graft Gym Bag, that’s when. I took a look at the stellar specs and standout style behind this piece recently for GearMoose.

That’s going to wrap things up for me today — how about you? Enjoy the weekend, and follow along with the rest of my adventures via Instagram, if you so choose!

See Now, Buy Now: The Iron & Resin Penton Henley Is The Ideal Winter Base Layer

As good as it gets when it comes to a road-ready henley that can carry you through winter.

The Iron & Resin Penton Henley is, simply put, the henley you didn’t know you needed in your winter wardrobe. That’s why we’re back with today’s See Now, Buy Now entry — that is to say, if you don’t yet have a rugged long-sleeve T-shirt in your layering arsenal for this chilly winter weather we’re experiencing, the Penton Henley is the piece to buy, well, now.  It’s certainly among a host of rugged style essentials we love here on the blog, and that puts it in good company.  Iron & Resin makes dependable gear for those who live life on the road, specifically on a motorbike, but that doesn’t mean the Penton Henley is exclusively for guys who clock hundreds or thousands of miles. Heck, with its lightweight cotton French terry and raglan stitching, it’s the kind of piece that would suit any guy who appreciates versatile layering potential. Love wearing your favorite henley under a rugged winter blazer? The Penton Henley can work there. More of a guy to team a henley with a denim jacket or a classic field jacket?  Here comes the Iron & Resin Penton Henley  to save the day.
Holiday 2017
The two-button henley collar is more unique than you’re going to find on a typical henley, making it slightly more dressy and visually interesting (almost like a cooler band collar shirt). And the Olive Green colorway on the Iron & Resin Penton Henley is suitable for both fall and winter, able to be worn with everything from a navy shirt jacket to a tan herringbone blazer. Don’t forget to pair up the Iron & Resin Penton Henley with your favorite pair of broken-in blue denim and some classic suede chukka boots (two pieces that can work at any time of year, lest we forget). So, there’s no time to waste when it comes to picking up the Iron & Resin Penton Henley — how would you wear this bad boy? Let me know via The Style Guide Facebook page!

Thanks for reading,

#OOTD: How to Wear Chelsea Boots for Fall and Winter Weather

Ahh, yes — we’re back for another #OOTD here on The Style Guide, and here’s the even better news: We’re really digging into tailored menswear for colder weather. You’re going to love it, or your money back. Stylish men’s Chelsea boots are an essential that shouldn’t be slept on, even if you haven’t yet shopped around for the perfect pair yet.  They’re a style of shoe that’s at once sleek and refined, yet edgy — there’s a reason rock stars love these boots. Now, we’ve previously talked the best pair of Chelsea boots to buy for fall, and we’re upping the ante a bit here today. The Hudson Shoes Wynford Chelsea Boots are just the ticket, and they’re potentially among the best men’s Chelsea boots. Specifically, we’re looking at how you can wear your new favorite Chelsea boots with a bit of tailored edge. So, think a stylish cardigan, slim wool trousers and of course,  a classic dress watch. You’re going to recognize plenty of other winter style essentials in this #menswear look, too — from an American-made cashmere scarf to surprisingly stylish men’s socks. If that all sounds great to you, then read on. Let me know your feedback in the comments, and I’m always up to chat on Twitter! Talk soon.

Sleek Chelsea boots done up in refined, sharp fashion. Perfect for fall and winter, no?

The Chelsea Boots: Hudson Shoes Wynford Chelsea Boots, $230 — Here’s the centerpiece of this outfit — a pair of stylish, sleek Chelsea boots. Crafted from rich, dark brown leather and featuring no-frills styling potential, the Wynford Chelsea Boots from Hudson Shoes couldn’t have come into your wardrobe at a better time.

The Cardigan: Mollusk Surf Shop Jeffrey Sweater in Cloud Grey, $180 — What better way to offset a pair of refined Chelsea boots than with a slightly rugged, stylish shawl collar cardigan? This is the kind of classic cardigan that a fella like James Bond might wear.

The Shirt: Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt, $159.98 — Quite simply, Corridor NYC makes astonishingly beautiful, classic shirting right here in NYC — the Check Flannel Shirt is a nicely tailored, dressy complement to this ensemble (and it features a winter-friendly wool blend).

The Trousers: Taylor Stitch Telegraph Trousers in Navy Donegal, $178 — While you can really wear your favorite Chelsea boots any way you want, slim wool trousers — especially the handsome Telegraph Trousers from Taylor Stitch — are a perfectly tailored move.

The Scarf: American Trench Cashmere Scarf in Red Flecked, $180 — Although you could certainly throw on a slim topcoat to finish off this outfit, a cashmere scarf from American Trench is a cool way to layer up in style while adding visual interest to a classic shawl collar cardigan.

The Socks: Anonymousism Boucle Mix Socks, $18 — As I always say here on this blog, don’t sleep on stylish accessories — particularly well-made socks from Anonymousism. Simply designed, well-made and stylish, the Boucle Mix Socks are a refined finishing touch.

The Watch: About Vintage 1815 Chronograph, $349 — What’s the one small accessory — besides stylish socks — that can both define an outfit and add quite a lot of style to said outfit? A classic men’s dress watch. This vintage-style About Vintage Chronograph is sharp and refined.

The Belt: Tanner Goods Standard Belt, $104.98 — Last but not least, we can’t forget a simply designed, durable men’s belt — especially not the excellent Standard Belt from Tanner Goods.

That’ll about do it for this tailored men’s style ensemble — do you have a better idea of how to wear Chelsea boots this season? The Wynford Chelsea Boots from Hudson Shoes are an excellent starting point for a sleek and tailored #OOTD — at least, that’s what I think. This look gets even sharper when you throw in winter-ready, dressy staples — take the Telegraph Trousers from Taylor Stitch, for instance. And similarly weather-ready shirting, like the Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt, also helps you get the job done in terms of seasonal dressing.  Lest we forget, a classic cardigan is going to act as a reliable stand-in for a classic blazer. That combo will be all the warmer with an American-made cashmere scarf and stylish Anonymousism socks, too. Of course, you can’t leave a stylish dress watch off your wrist, and that’s where the terrific About Vintage Chronograph is going to help you stay on time in style. What’s your take on this #OOTD? Will the Wynford Chelsea Boots from Hudson Shoes be finding their way onto your feet this season? Let me know in the comments!

Style Pick of the Week: Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt

A refined shirt that’s hearty and versatile enough for plenty of wearing occasions through fall and winter.

There are brands that make nice #menswear right here in America, and then there are brands like Corridor NYC — making its line of stylish men’s shirting, outerwear and the like in New York City (and in the case of this classic flannel shirt, Philadelphia). That’s a cut above the rest, to be sure, and that makes the Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt potentially your new favorite flannel shirt, my friends.  November is simply an excellent time to break out those fall style essentials that seem to have sat in our closets for longer this year, what with slightly warmer weather creeping later into the season. But now, well … the Check Flannel Shirt deserves your attention as our latest Style Pick of the Week (and as one of the best flannel shirts out there).  It’s made with wool-blend fabric and features a handsome fit that’s not too tight, yet pleasingly tailored. Corridor NYC  certainly has the pedigree to churn out reliable basics like this. The brand wants to make “engaging yet classic pieces,” from outerwear to shirting — and it would appear they’re succeeding quite nicely. Heck, the Check Flannel Shirt is but one in a stellar line of rugged, versatile menswear — like the tremendous Corridor NYC Waxed M-65, for instance. With a similar attention to detail and remarkable quality, the Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt  sits in a class of its own (that goes for style as well as substance).

Corridor NYC

Elegant fabric, quality construction and subtle style set this Corridor NYC flannel shirt apart.

The Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt is nearly a go-anywhere type of flannel shirt, just casual enough to wear with cordoroys and a crewneck sweater — yet sharp enough to pull double duty during the work week. It also features a spread collar, making this the type of flannel shirt that works as well with American-made denim and rugged leather boots as it does with your best fall and winter blazer. Yes indeed, the Check Flannel Shirt will set you back nearly $160 … but I guarantee you don’t have another shirt in your closet like it. The blue-and-brown stripe combo is handsome and refined, but just unique enough to stand out quietly. It’s a piece that you can buy now, and wear through March or April thanks to that versatile color combo and subtly stylish pattern. The Check Flannel Shirt is also hearty enough to pair with a wool or knit tie — plus your favorite fall blazer. Have you caught on to the fact that the Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt is simply, quite possibly … your next flannel shirt for fall and winter? Helpfully, it’s available now — before Thanksgiving and Christmas — and it’ll reliably give any holiday party look a bit of a shot in the arm (and it goes without saying that it’ll upgrade your casual weekend style, too). It’s just up to you to make the Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt a part of your wardrobe. What do ya say?

How would you style the Corridor NYC Check Flannel Shirt? Is it worthy of your style wish list?

The Friday Read: Early Holiday Gift Ideas, A New Timepiece and Craft Beer

Hey there, my friends — let’s raise a glass to the weekend, yes? It’s been a jam-packed week in NYC, from a media event at my day job at NYC’s Coyne PR to some excellent rock shows on the side, including a long-awaited retun from my pals in the West Coast-based indie rock band Mainland. They played the legendary Mercury Lounge on Wednesday night as part of a sold-out tour alongside fellow rockers The Wrecks — talk about a great night of guitar-driven jams. And for what it’s worth, the latest Mainland release, the anthemic “I Found God,” is an excellent, high-voltage song packed with power and a poignant, moving music video to go along with it. A heck of a way to spend a Wednesday night, certainly! This weekend promises more fun, too — I’m heading upstate for a quick day trip to the lovely town of Beacon, home to the world-class Dia: Beacon art museum. It’ll be a nice getaway after a busy week, and I’m bringing my favorite fall style essentials with me, of course. For full coverage, be sure to check out my Instagram. What’s on the docket this weekend for you? On the style front, I’d say you should prep to dress for your next tailgate in style if you’re heading out to a ballgame. Taking things just a bit more casually? We’ve also got you set when it comes to weekend style essentials. Again, I hope you enjoy the weekend — and I hope it’s filled with great coffee, great brunch and great beer!

  • It’s never too early to start shopping around for the best men’s holiday gifts — right? Right? Luckily, our pals at Huckberry have darn near everything you need for a great stocking stuffer (and beyond). Some initial favorites of mine? Ursa Major’s Essential Face Wipes, the cool and cozy Acorn Astronaut Slippers, Fulton & Roark Shave Cream, and of course, the Be Home Copper Bar Set. Fear not, though — we’ll cover plenty of holiday gift suggestions and Black Friday deals in the week ahead.
  • If you’re on the hunt for a new timepiece — which you certainly should be — your search might just be ending … well, today. Martenero lovingly crafts durable, striking timepieces with heritage quality and a modern edge. The Kerrison, the brand’s latest effort is A) Assembled in New York and B) Made with some seriously cool design touches. We’re talking a crisp, simple and stylish everyday watch. It’s available for pre-funding on Kickstarter now and if I were you … I’d hop over to that page and hand over some money.
  • While we’re talking all things Kickstarter, how about upgrading your everyday carry? Maybe with something as simple as the Minimal Mechanical Pencil? From Modern Fuel, this excellently designed mechanical pencil is simple enough to be essential — in short, it’s a pencil you’ll want to pre-fund now … before you find yourself using it all the time, everyday. Plege $340 or more and get the Collector’s Set, featuring one of each pencil. Tell me that’s not a great deal, ehh?
  • Now, aside from menswear writing and live music, I’ve got another passion — that of excellent craft beer. It’s easy to find so many great spots serving up richly crafted beer in NYC, but October (a recently launched beer and music-centric publication) delves into a cool question: What if you only had two taps at your restaurant or bar? What would you serve? The examples seen in this feature are pretty neat, to say the least.

That’s going to do it for this week’s Friday Read — enjoy a nice weekend, shop a few of my fall men’s style essentials, and see you tomorrow for the Style Pick of the Week. Cheers!

Style Pick of the Week: Grayers Bayswater Fleece

A new fall and winter layer from a brand that nails the balance between casual and classy style.

My dear friends, it’s time for another Style Pick of the Week — are you as excited as I am? Let’s get pumped. If you’ve checked your calendar as of late, perhaps you were as shocked as I was to see that it’s … NOVEMBER. Seriously — where did the fall season go? That means we’re transitioning to colder temperatures and dressing in rugged fall style essentials all the way. And that means … well, that the Grayers Bayswater Fleece is going to be a new go-to layering move for you. The Bayswater Fleece is the type of modern update to a classic piece that Grayers does so well — slightly preppy, slightly classic and very easily wearable no matter how you style it. The brand draws inspiration from a mix of Americana and British styles, named for the type of pants that became so popular in Britain decades ago. As it were, the Bayswater Fleece is the type of piece that would work on a chilly British morning, maybe as you traipse across your country estate. But I digress. Made from heathered French terry twill fleece, the Grayers Bayswater Fleece is a perfect shirt for casual weekend style — part shirt, part jacket, that is. With two hand warmer pockets and two chest button pockets, it’s the sort of layer you can toss on with ease atop a slim striped henley or a classic chambray shirt — that’s about all you can ask for.

An easygoing silhouette that’s ideal for throwing on with the simplest of looks.

If you’ve been looking for an in-between layer to throw on for a casual stroll through your favorite park or a quick farmer’s market trip, the Bayswater Fleece is it. And if you want a shirt-jacket that you can wear to travel in comfort and style, the Bayswater Fleece is a winner in that regard, too. It adds instant polish to even the simplest of looks, like a classic men’s T-shirt or a vintage-inspired flannel shirt. And if you feel like layering up to take on a chilly fall or winter day? The Grayers Bayswater Fleece fits right in with a quilted field jacket and slim chinos (don’t forget rugged leather boots, either). And on top of its easy-to-wear styling potential, small design touches like those chest pockets and hand warmer pockets provide ample space for all your everyday carry essentials — don’t underestimate the importance of that. So, have you come around to the idea of grabbing the Grayers Bayswater Fleece for seasonal layering? Some pieces just make so much sense that it’s tricky not to buy them — right? Oh, and the good news is that it comes in under $100 via Bespoke Post. Add that to the list of positives, too. Yes indeed, if I were you… I’d make the Grayers Bayswater Fleece my next purchase. Want to let me know what you think of this piece? Hit me up on Twitter.

As always — thanks for reading!

The Friday Read: Kinross Cashmere, Fall Layering and Daylight Savings Time

Hello again and welcome to the weekend, Style Guide readers. It’s time to wrap up the week in style with The Friday Read, your look at all the essential #menswear news to know … plus, a few other fun pieces.  Are you keeping up with our near-continual coverage of men’s fall style essentials? It’s certainly the right time to be on the lookout for wardrobe upgrades, from the best leather boots for fall to the right way to wear a vest this season. Yes indeed, fall in New York City calls to mind rugged menswear, but it also reminds me of my home in Michigan — seeing the colors change here in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park calls to mind beautiful strolls through the campus of my alma mater, Michigan State University. It’s not quite the same here out East, but it’s close enough. What’s on your fall weekend agenda? After a busy few weeks of traveling,  I’m excited to have a second straight weekend in Brooklyn — I’m planning on exploring the neighborhood of Red Hook, what with cool spots like vintage menswear haven Wooden Sleepers. In the meantime, you can expect a new Style Pick of the Week tomorrow — have a great weekend, folks!

  • Let’s talk stylish menswear — and a heck of a stylish giveaway — from a few brands we know and love, including perennial Style Guide favorites Grayers and SeaVees! The two brands are running a  whopping $2,500 menswear giveaway through Sunday, November 12th. What’s on tap? Oh, man. The SeaVees x Grayers Tailgate Givewaway features full outfits from Grayers, two pairs of SeaVees sneakers and of course, other tailgating gear (like a Yeti cooler). What have you got to lose? Enter the giveaway here — and check out my own personal tips on how to dress for your next tailgate, while we’re talking sports and style.
  • We’ve talked recently about the best men’s cardigans to buy now — ’tis the season, indeed. Well, get your credit card handy and add to your shopping list as soon as you can, because Kinross Cashmere is making one stylish handsome, refined cardigan to add to your list. That is to say, the brand’s entire line of cashmere and cashmere-blend sweaters is perfect … but I love the Contrast Double Rib Button Front Cardigan the best. Shop away!

  • As always, Esquire.com is here with more interesting writing for your reading pleasure. The site is digging into why Daylight Savings Time is … actually not all that beneficial. Huh. An interesting read, certainly,
  • Want to switch up your black tie look? Considerably, that is to say? Here, it’s covered — the Jack Sharp by Snoop Dogg X Collection by Michael Strahan Jacket is fun, holiday-friendly, affordable and … well, vouched for by Snopp Dogg. Super smooth, nicely tailored and just a bit tongue-in-cheek. A fun little holiday party move, ehh? (If you’re searching for even more guidance on the #menswear to wear to a holiday party, head here).

With that … let’s wrap this thing up! Have a great weekend, and be sure to follow along on my Instagram for complete coverage of all my Brooklyn weekend adventures (nudge, nudge).

Thanks for reading!

See Now, Buy Now: Gear Up and Hit the Road with Taylor Stitch’s Moto Pant in Dyneema Denim

One heck of a pair of pants — ready for anything. Pre-fund them now via Taylor Stitch, folks.

Don’t let that image at the top of the page scare you — the Taylor Stitch Moto Pant in Dyneema Denim is a pair of moto jeans that’s easily wearable even if you don’t own a motorcycle or ride off-road. In fact, the Moto Pants in Dyneema Denim are a sufficiently cool, rugged way to upgrade your dark blue denim with style and functionality. As any loyal Style Guide reader knows, Taylor Stitch consistently kills it on all fronts in the menswear game, and the brand’s Moto Collection only ups the ante even further. For you and me both, that means you’ve got more gear to add to your list of men’s style essentials. Packed with hits like the beautiful Taylor Stitch Moto Jacket (as seen in a previous See Now, Buy Now entry), the Moto Collection is also home to the Moto Pants in Dyneema Denim — and they’re a sufficient supporting accessory, to say the least. It starts with the road-ready Dyneema fabric, known as the “world’s strongest fabric” and comprising more than 50 percent of the Taylor Stitch Moto Pants.

In short, that makes for a pair of trousers that blend the look of a pair of classic dark blue jeans with the durability of the outdoors-minded Taylor Stitch Camp Pants, for instance. In short, that means you can take the Taylor Stitch Moto Pants just about anywhere you’d like this winter, from a grueling hike to a less-taxing stroll through the snow to your favorite craft beer bar (that’s probably how I’d wear mine, at least). Front slash pockets leave you with plenty of room to haul your everyday carry essentials for hours at a time, too. On the styling front, I’d freely layer up with a rugged henley and a stylish field jacket for chilly fall and winter days. And you can even throw on a stylish vest, plus suede lace-up boots and perhaps a rugged crewneck sweater, for easygoing-yet-durable style. Of course, rugged leather boots are an essential with a pair of pants as outdoor-minded as the Taylor Stitch Moto Pants, too. And with a price tag of nearly $250, I’d urge you to find as many ways as possible to break out the Moto Pants in Dyneema Denim — but you’d better pre-fund them now. Right? Glad we’re on the same page.

Are you pre-fundig the  Taylor Stitch Moto Pants in Dyneema Denim? Let me know in the comments or on Twitter!
