They feature 1 percent elastane (as opposed to Mott and Bow’s customary 2 percent), but the design of these jeans is still focused on comfort stretch denim. I’ve tried both Slim and Straight with the Mott and Bow Oliver Jeans and other pairs, and find that the Straight Leg fit works nicely with bulkier leather work boots or Blundstone boots. The Slim fit is a better pairing with low-top or high-top sneakers. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.

I don’t know about you, but I’m of the opinion that, within reason, every part of your #OOTD should clear a very high bar: Rugged quality, durability, utility and versatility.
